What to buy
Last week Charlie Banana introduced a 2-in-1 Swim Diaper and Training pant for toddlers. These training pants are suppose to help toddlers who are potty training during the summer, and parents cut down costs. No need to buy training pants and swim diapers. These training pants/swim diapers come in fun colors and the inside is organic cotton.
Potty Scotty and Potty Patty just released their new colors just in time for Christmas! Their new regular and riding potty chairs comes in 3 new colors: White, Green and Red. These colors are also now available in Potty Seat II. I’m sure these potty chairs and seats will make great Christmas presents for any toddler. Because these colors are unisex, you are able to find the new colors on both sites.
When you begin potty training, you will need to have a potty chair or potty seat for your child to use. The easier it is for your child to use the bathroom, the more likely they will be to want to go.
When it comes to potty training many parents and even children want to keep using the diapers. Parents sometimes allow their child to wear a diaper at night, since they have not been nighttime potty trained yet and they do not want any accidents. Or on long car rides or trips to do errands the child is in a diaper so that there will be less chance of an accident happening.
If you are ready to start potty training and so is your toddler, than there are definitely some potty training products that you will want to have on hand. These are a necessity in many ways, as well as they will make potty training so much easier too.
With the economy getting worse, and budgets getting tighter – should you spend alot of money on a themed potty chair?
Well the answer is totally up to you. Do what your budget allows you to, but keep in mind that a potty chair is going to be a short term solution to potty training. They can be a great tool, but don’t bust your wallet at the same time.
I have to say, what a great idea! I haven’t seen anyone use the potty watches and add disney characters to them.
They were giving them in every box of pull-ups, now you can purchase them by themselves ONLY at their exclusive store.
- If you are using 100% (no waterproofing) you and your child can see and feel the wetness
- Cloth training pants are washable and reusable. (In comparison, disposable “training pants” cost $15.99 for 40. Your child will use approximately 10-12 a day, this will give you approximately 3 1/2 weeks supply. )
The basis for using stickers and a chart is really simple- to provide a visual reward for positive behavior. Children love to have their work displayed, and potty training charts capitalize on that fact. The positive incentive encourages the desired behavior. The child practices the behavior enough that it becomes habit, and before you know it, the child is potty trained. Charts and stickers provide a visual reinforcement, a reminder of the progress
